The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

K.M. Donoghue replaced J.C. Gainford on Umpire's Call, trained by J.P.Dempsey (Race 3)(Stewards permission)

S.W. Flanagan, rider of Amen Kate, trained by Thomas Cooper, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount shied from the starting tape which resulted in him being unseated.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Neon Diamond, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake with a circuit to go and never travelled thereafter.

373E Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Adrian Sexton, trainer of Takemebacktodakota following a request to run his charge without hind shoes which is required under Regulation 16. Adrian Sexton stated that his charge was difficult to handle and particularly difficult to shoe, he confirmed that the relevant paperwork has been submitted to the IHRB. Having considered the request, the Raceday Stewards allowed Takemebacktodacota to run.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Newbrook Diamond, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left throughout.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Plontier (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Paul John Gilligan, trainer of Seventy Eight team for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with Rule 90(i)

The Raceday Stewards interviewed P.K. Donovan, rider of Milanaway, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he misjudged his whip use. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that P.K Donovan was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency)and having considered his record in this regard,(first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for 3 racedays .

Anna McGuinness, rider of Take Chance (FR), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount didn't travel in the early stages of the race.

E. Staples, rider of Cosmo Renfro, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had blood at both nostrils. This was confirmed by an IHRB Veterinary Officer

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sarah's Express, trained by P.A.Fahy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils post race.
